Accommodating up to 4 guests, it is the perfect holiday location for travelling around this area and exploring both the main art cities of Tuscany and the surrounding hills, where the world renowned white wine Vernaccia from San Gimignano is produced.

The apartment shares with other apartments in the village a swimming pool with a breathtaking view on the vineyards panorama.

The apartment

The two floors apartment La Roccaia is composed of a large living-dining room with fireplace and fully equipped kitchenette (with freezer, microwave and washing machine), two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and a spacious terrace with barbeque, table and chairs for enjoying a typical Tuscan grilled dinner al fresco.

From the terrace guests may admire the unique view on the world renowned medieval towers of San Gimignano, whose historical city center has been delcared World Heritage Site from UNESCO.The apartment can accommodate 2 or 4 guests and is also provided with heating for winter vacations. 

The swimming pool

This self catering apartment has also a beautiful outdoor pool with sun beds and umbrellas where guests may relax and admire the marvellous panorama on the surrounding hills and the city of San Gimignano. The swimming pool, open from June till September, is included in the price of the apartment. 

The location

Settled in a small, ancient hamlet in the magnificent area of Chianti near Siena, this completely independent apartment is just 7 kilometers far from the art city of San Gimignano and less than 50 from Florence, Siena and Pisa: it's the perfect location, then, for exploring the main tourist destinations of Tuscany and the area of Chianti.

In particular, from the large terrace and the swimming pool, guests may admire a wonderful view on the surrounding vineyards landscape: this area is well known in fact for the production of the famous white wine Vernaccia of San Gimignano.

The owners of La Roccaia, Berta and Andrea have also a charming B&B near San Gimignano, at about 15 kilomters from the apartment, called Casolare di Libbiano, where it's possible tasting delicious Tuscan dinners and taking part to cooking classes for learning some secrets about the traditional kitchen. The apartment guests may take part in those courses and try the typical dishes at the restaurant on requests, all they need to do is just driving to the B&B.
