If you decide to spend a vacation in a Tuscan farmhouse, you’ll probably expect to stay in the midst of the countryside, immersed in a green nature enjoying the peaceful location, the tasteful local products with the host family and assisting - or why not, taking part in - some of the farmhouse activities, like grape harvesting and animals breeding.

Being surrounded by the wonderful Tuscan countryside, many farmhouses have decided to add an outdoor swimming pool for offering their guests a cooling alternative to the seaside that, sometimes, may be a bit far away.

Even if you choose an agriturismo on or close by the coast, however, pools could be a relaxing and more intimate solution for taking refreshing baths and enjoying that kind of peace that only a vacation in a farmhouse can offer.
