Le Dimore del Borgo has 9 suites of different sizes, from studio flats to two, three and four bedroom apartments, all equipped with every modern comfort. With that, we mean soundproofing, air conditioning and heating from below the wood floors, controlled mechanical ventilation, motorized shutters, flat screen TVs with satellite TV, free Wi Fi and fully-equipped kitchens. The unique controlled mechanical ventilation system allows air to be filtered for fine dust, pollen and pollutants in orer to create a fresh and healthy environment to make your stay as pleasant as possible, even in the spring! All this was planned in when the building was renovated in 2016/2017.
The style of the 3 story building is modern and sophisticated, with the convenience of an elevator. The furnishings are simple and functional, yet welcoming and comfortable. The apartments are ideal for families, groups of friends and couples of all ages or individuals. The apartments have large windows which make them very airy and luminous, while the shutters can block out light even in the middle of the day were you to need a short nap to recharge before heading out to see more sights or for dinner.
If you feel like dining out, there are many restaurants in the nearby streets of the "borgo", the oldest part of Lucca just outside the walls. If you want to stay in for a night, the kitchens have induction hobs, microwave ovens and automatic coffee machines that will make cooking a pleasure.
In the mornings, spoil yourself with the in-room breakfast service or take a break with the variety of drinks and snacks inside the fridge minibar.
Central location, yet Practical
Located just 300 meters from the center of Lucca makes it ideal for visiting the city and all of the main sights, from the Duomo to the Guinigi Tower and its many iconic churches, including San Frediano and San Michele in Foro. At the same time, being outside the walls you don't need to worry about driving into the ZTL area or about parking, as it is included on-site for guests right behind and below the residence.
Ready for adventures in Tuscany
Lucca makes a great base for both relaxing for a few days in town or for heading out for day trips to the nearby Tuscan beaches along Viareggio and the Versilia or heading inland to explore the artistic treasures in Pisa, Florence or Siena. If you're feeling like spening time outdoors, head north into the nearby valley of Garfagnana and then up into the Apuan Alps for some refreshing hikes in the large parks along its many hiking trails. Feel like wine tasting or exploring the countryside? The area around Lucca has many Renaissance-era villas ideal for exploration as well as wine estates that will offer many opportunities for whatever you feel like doing that day!
