Casa Vacanze Le Fornaci is a combination of comfort & elegance lovingly restored with reverence for the many memories conserved within these walls. The original structure lent itself to large rooms with lots of natural light, a simple yet convenient floor plan, and special outdoor areas. The owners combined the special history of the area, the traditions, and legends and added the necessary ingredients to create these warm and welcoming holiday accommodations; they embody the classic beauty of Tuscany with the comforts of a home away from home.
Organized for Absolute Relaxation
The self-catering accommodations consist of either one or two bedroom apartments situated within a large building once used to dry the clay objects before they were placed into the kiln for firing. Spread out on two floors, the architectural design of Casa Vacanze Le Fornaci makes use of the original simple, industrial style and transforms it into cozy holiday apartments for families, couples, and groups traveling together with modern accessories including WiFi throughout the apartments.
The one bedroom apartment includes a living room area with a corner dedicated to the kitchenette, furnished with a microwave and dishwasher. The cooking corner is supplied with all necessary tools, dishes, and linens for small or light meals at home. The living room features a TV and a sofa bed, these apartments are suitable for up to four persons.
Though the floor plan is the same for all the two bedrooms, it is the decor which gives each a special personality. Many pieces have been carefully restored by the owner and have a light and airy charm about them. The 4 - 5 person apartments include a master bedroom, one bathroom and a loft area where it is possible to sleep up to three persons upon request.

Guests are invited to spend time poolside, where there are several loungers, tables and chairs organized. The pool is set in a wide open space that gathers lots of Tuscan sun, yet provides ample space for relax. Kids have a fun play area where they can busy themselves with some fun and parents & adults are invited to use the picnic area for Tuscan styled BBQs and outdoor happy hours.
The owners have had fun setting up an “enoteca” where guests are invited to come and sample a wide selection of local and quality wines ranging many styles and prices. This area is a quiet little nook, where you will find a range of flavors from the Tuscan countryside.
The grounds at Casa Vacanze Le Fornaci are well maintained and invite you to find a special corner and enjoy the serene and peaceful atmosphere. Make use of the shaded areas, the garden tables and the pool with loungers and umbrellas. There are games and ideas to keep the kids busy and plenty of room for outdoor picnics and BBQs.
Located just south of Florence and a bit east of Siena the self catering apartments at Casa Vacanze Le Fornaci are in an ideal position for visiting many of the major sites and iconic landscapes of Tuscany. A day visiting the vineyards in Chianti, which is practically in your backyard or an afternoon getting photos of the UNESCO Heritage views in Val d’Orcia.
Make plans to spend a day in Florence to visit the museums and churches, like that of the Duomo and Santa Croce. Program a leisurely drive thru the panoramic roads to visit Siena, and its amazing Piazza del Campo and the Torre di Mangia.
