The apartment overlooks onto Piazza del Duomo, so you'll be able to admire a straight on view of the cathedral and of the communal palace, the Torre Grossa, the tallest standing tower remaining in San Gimignano. To the right of the Duomo, are the two "twin towers" as they are known, so you'll be surrounded by some of the most beautiful sights in San Gimignano while in the apartment.

The two-bedroom apartment has a double master bedroom and a smaller room with two twin beds, perfect for a family or couple. While San Gimignano can be reached with public transportation, if you want to explore the surrounding countryside you will want your own car. Parking is available all around the town and from there you will be able to go on day trips to other hilltop towns in Chianti, to Renaissance Florence or medieval Siena, Volterra and the walled village of Monteriggioni, among others. Wine tastings in the many wine estates around San Gimignano will give you the chance to taste the local Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOP or other Chianti wines.
