Elegance & Comfortable Rooms

The historic residence from the mid 1800’s is a charming and dreamy setting for a Tuscan holiday vacation feature vacation rooms. The elegant and familiar decor evokes the beauty of yesteryear, featuring many of the original elements of the villa and accenting the interiors with antiques, neutral colors and natural light.

All guests at Villa Il Palazzino have a delicious breakfast every morning and daily cleaning of the lodging, just like a small hotel. The Leonardo da Vinci room is upstairs and has a private rooftop terrace that boasts a spectacular 360° view of Tuscany with the sea in the distance. The Etrusca room is a triple with a double and single bed in soothing shades of rose with handpainted murals on the walls. The modern bathroom is furnished with a hydromassage tub and it offers a view of the coast from it’s large and luminous room. There is a private entrance to the room Adelina, which comes with its own secluded garden area. The Guest Room, with a double, is located on the first floor and includes a view of the coast.

Practical & Romantic at the Same Time

Villa il Palazzino provides several solutions to your holiday accommodations, simple rooms with B&B service, or suites that include a kitchenette ideal for a light meal or afternoon snack. The suite Galileo Galilei, on the second floor, has a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a large living room with kitchenette and fireplace. All of this comes with a large terrace in terracotta with spectacular view. The suite Il Capitano is dedicated to the captain general of Florence who besieged Bibbona in the fourteenth century, and has a super large double bedroom, kitchenette, and a dedicated garden area.  The suites also include a delicious breakfast and daily cleaning.

A Warm Welcome

The owners prefer to keep things cosy and personal, so they offer the services like a small hotel starting with an abundant breakfast with genuine flavors. Every room and independent accommodations have a daily cleaning service, as well as a TV, minibar and air conditioning. There is free parking, and since the charming town of Bibbona is only 500 meters away, it is possible to leave it there and walk to the local newsstand, cafe or restaurants.

From June to September the owners open the door to their small restaurant where they propose a creative menu using the local ingredients and traditions, including fresh pasta, fruits, herbs and spices from their vegetable garden. The gardens around the house are composed of a relaxing shade areas, green corners and a refreshing pool with a panoramic view. The owners have 6 hectares dedicated to growing quality olives grown in environment friendly conditions, respecting the delicate balance of nature.

Romance for Couples

There is cottage which is positioned only a short distance from the main villa which guarantee privacy and access to the lovely green garden. The Suite Private Spa is spacious and suggestive with its large tub, neutral colors and panoramic views. Set about 20 meters from the main villa, it presents one large room with a spacious bathroom including a bio-sauna and shower. The room is furnished with a large room with a view includes a double bed and jacuzzi.

There is a one bedroom independent cottage only 50 meters from the main villa. Casa Minnie will accommodate up to three persons with a full kitchen. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a microwave. The cottage is surrounded by a well maintained green garden and features an air conditioning, veranda and private parking. The setting is tranquil and quiet.

Coastal Views in the Tuscan Hills

In one direction you can appreciate the beauty of the Tyrrhenian sea, the sandy beaches and the Tuscan pinettas (shady pine forests along the coast). The position of Villa il Palazzino puts you within walking distance of Bibbona, which also includes one of the award winning beaches of Tuscany. A day trip to visit the fascinating island of Elba where Napoleon spent time in exile - and where SCUBA divers love to explore. Don’t forget that the coast of Tuscan is also home to some of its most prestigious vineyards and wines, so a visit to Bolgheri is a must.

But that doesn’t mean you have to renounce on visiting the more classical sites of Tuscany. Without travelling too far you can visit the stunning town of Volterra, with …. Just a little further on a very panoramic drive you will come up on the tower town of San Gimignano. From Villa il Palazzino you can also plan easy day trips to visit nearby vineyards, the hilltop towns of Montescudaio and Guardistallo where you can savor a menu mix of mushrooms and wild game as well as savory seafood dishes.
