Nestled in the lovely Tuscan countryside near the small village of Montaione, the farmhouse is located about an hour from Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca and Volterra.

The farmhouse offers ten comfortable holiday apartments equipped with all main amenities and for various family sizes and groups.

The Residence Santa Maria is run by two young sisters, Laura and Stefania, who together with their father Giuseppe, personally take care of guests during their stay at the farmhouse. The friendly and courteous owners offer a welcoming yet discreet presence: the sisters will gladly provide recommendations or ideas of what to do or visit or where to eat while staying at Residence Santa Maria.

The farmhouse offers guests ten comfortable vacation apartments in typical Tuscan decor: terracotta floors, exposed wood-beam ceilings and distinctive country style furniture.
The apartments have fully-equipped kitchens and each one has its own outdoor balcony or porch from which to enjoy all the quiet and the beauty of the Tuscan countryside.

From May through October, the beautiful outdoor swimming pool is open. Here guests will be able to relax in the sun in the sunbeds or in the shade under the sun umbrellas.

Guests can also participate in fun Tuscan cooking classes organized by the owners.

In the heart of Tuscany close to all the top attractions

The Santa Maria farmhouse, thanks to its central location, is an excellent starting point for visiting the most interesting tourist sights across all of Tuscany.

San Gimignano, with its famous skyline outlined by medieval towers, is located less than 20 km from the residence. In about an hour drive, guests can also reach Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca and Livorno, each of which is all ideal as day-trip destinations for a day spent discovering Tuscany and its art, history, traditions and features.

A short distance from the holiday home, guests will find supermarkets and shops to buy what they need during their stay in the apartment as well as several excellent restaurants where one can taste and enjoy typical Tuscan cuisine.
