Porcigliano Bed and Breakfast is a welcoming country house surrounded by the luxurious nature of the Mugello valley, just a few kilometers outside of Florence.
The b&b offers its guests the typical Tuscan atmosphere and the cozy and warm hospitality of a private home to make guests feel like at home.
The house has been restored and furnished as typical tuscan style with stones at sight, ceiling with exposed wooden beams and terracotta floors.
The comfortable and spacious guest bedrooms are located on the first floor, all of them offering a beautiful view over the Florentine hills.

The B&B's neat and well-tended garden is at the disposal of guests and is perfect for enjoying relaxing moments surrounded by nature and the smells of the countryside. A picnic and a barbecue area are also available.
Built over ancient ruins
Porcigliano was built at the end of the 60s over the ruins of the ancient tower of Porcigliano, dating back to the Middle Ages.
The whole building has been recently restored employing ecological materials and methods of building, wishing to create a healthy and pleasant environment in harmony with nature.
Surroundings
The bed and breakfast is situated at an altitude of 450 meters above sea level, just outside the village of Polcanto in the green valley of Mugello.
Porcigliano B&B is about 15 minutes from Borgo San Lorenzo and the Etruscan village of Fiesole and 30 minutes by car from Florence.
Porcigliano is a perfect starting base to visit Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa and the most famous cities in Tuscany.
Activities
The territory of Mugello offers many opportunities for enjoying your favorite pastimes and recreational activities including sailing, hiking and fishing.
Close to the b&b, you can visit for example the characteristic villages of Borgo San Lorenzo and Scarperia and some beautiful Medicean villas and castles.
Sports lovers can enjoy one of the many itineraries for trekking and mountain bike paths or the many other activities organized at the Bilancino Lake.
