There are four fully independent and private vacation villas rentals for groups of 4 to 12 persons located only a short distance from San Casciano dei Bagni. The location, between Florence and Rome is immersed in an area famous for its thermal water springs, rich agriculture and delicious wines. The antique estates promise silence, a possibility to commune with nature and rekindle old friendships, bring families even closer and offer the delightful possibility of making new acquaintances.

Use one of the fully restored villas as a base for exploring the countryside not only of Tuscany but also Umbria and Lazio where you will find many medieval hamlets, national parks and monuments to the Romans and Etruscans that once ruled this land.

Treat Yourself to Luxury in Tuscany

The villa rentals at Montefreddo include not only the basic amenities expected from a fully equipped vacation home but Olivia and her husband have gone the extra mile to include those special treats that make you feel right at home. The quality decor highlights the unique Tuscan nature of the villas and the surroundings, including the polished wood beams, the typical terracotta floors and the traditional fireplaces. The soft and comfortable furnishings have been selected and maintained with care and combine together with the classical Tuscan architecture to create a deluxe atmosphere. The vacation rentals all include WiFi and fully equipped kitchens with stoves, full sized refrigerator and dishwashers. Each villa comes with a complimentary breakfast basket filled Km0 products, which means local producers of fresh yogurt, cereals, jams & fruit juices as well as special sweets and cookies. There are also two days of cleaning included in the price to help you keep the villa in order while on your vacation, more hours are available upon request.

Privacy is a Priority

Each structure is securely nestled into a panoramic backdrop of silence, lush green gardens and thick rich forests. The perfume of lavender, rosemary and sage will fill the warm Tuscan air and the sight of fields of grain, groves of olive trees and miles upon miles of softly rolling hills will calm the senses. The family continues to harvest grain, olive oil and raise the prized Chianina cows as their ancestors did before them - so be sure to ask to taste their home grown products. And don’t forget to ask about having a Chef come to the villa to tantalize you with delicious local specialities so you don’t have to always cook while on holiday. Olivia and her husband are always available to assist you in planning out your itinerary or deciding how to spend the day but you will find that privacy is absolute: private villa, private garden and private pool.

Choose Your Pleasure

In an area which is well known for its thermal waters, the vacation villa Il Bagnolo (8 + 2 PAX) boasts of a special treat: a thermal water pool. The water gurgles up at 40°C and mixes with the natural water in the irregularly shaped pool area to arrive at a refreshing 28°-30°C… just imagine your own private heated lake. The rental villa is organized with a master bath & bedroom; there are 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin share which share 2 bathrooms.

The vacation rental Montefreddo di Sopra includes a main house and a guest cottage. A total of 6-11 PAX can holiday in this fully restructured villa. There is a Master bed with en suite bath, 1 double en suite bathroom, 1 single bedroom which shares a bathroom with another double bedroom. Though, the owner will tell you that it is highly unlikely you will ever need it, this villa vants AC in all bedrooms. The fresh night air will normally be all you need to cool down in the summer but, just in case you will be prepared. The fully equipped guest cottage has it’s own kitchenette and 2 double bedrooms with bath.

The vacation villas San Giacomo which will accommodate from 4 to 12 PAX. There is a private guest cottage for 4 pax and is divided into 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms as well as a kitchenette and living room area. The main villa has 2 double en suite bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms which share a bathroom. There is a large garden area and like the other villas there is ample garden furniture to enjoy a picnic BBQ or fun around the fenced in private pool, suitable for families with children.

The smallest of the rentals is Montefreddo, which has 3 double bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom. This villa shares a pool with the owner, but has its own private garden area and an inviting panoramic balcony where the delights of Tuscany are beckoning. You will spend delightful evenings sipping the local wines and taste testing the cheeses, fruits and pasta from the area.

The position of San Casciano dei Bagni offers the unique opportunity to discover 3 different regions of Italy with only a short drive: Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio. San Casciano dei Bagni invites you to walk along the thermal baths and enjoy the natural flowing waters but if you are looking for some watersports and beach time you can check out the sandy beaches of Lago Trasimeno, before touring Perugia and Assisi. Just a bit south, one can explore the caves underneath the city of Orvieto or the one of a kind hamlet of Civita di Bagnoregio. The position in southern Tuscany puts you in an excellent range of seeing not only the beauty of Siena, Florence and Cortona but also places like Citta delle Pieve and the town of Solomeo.
