Borgo Isora - Property Details

The full restoration of the two houses has led to the construction of four beautiful apartments, each with its own independent entrance.

Each of the lodgings is furnished with all imaginable comforts and necessary equipment to ensure a pleasurable stay in full autonomy. Guests can relax next to the swimming pool during the summer months.

The apartments overlook a private square and enjoy a beautiful view over the gardens and mountains which surround the village.

Le Piastre: Location Details

The town of Le Piastre is found 800m above sea level, 15 minutes from the Firenze Mare A11 highway (Pistoia exit) and about 40 minutes from Florence, 30 minutes from Lucca and 60 minutes from both Pisa and Siena. It is therefore possible, with short car trips, to visit the major historical cities all in one day and enjoy the treasures of Tuscany.

Borgo Isora is open year-round and has English-speaking staff available to offer tips and information on the surrounding area. The residence offers guests a private garden, private parking, a play area for children, a barbecue area and a 11m x 5,50m swimming pool.

Nearby Activities

Since the farmhouse apartments are located in the mountains but just 40 minutes from Florence, it is possible to visit all of the main citieis in Tuscany, including Florence, Pisa, Lucca and Siena. The apartments however are particularly well located for anyone visiting Tuscany in the winter when nearby Abetone offers incredible skiing.

It is also possible to visit the old ice factories found in Le Piastre along the Reno River, recently reclaimed and restored to their original condition by the mountain community.
