Apartments in Tuscany near Pistoia, Abetone and Montecatini Terme

Composed of two traditional rustic Tuscan farmhouses, Borgo Isora offers four apartments in an old rural Tuscan village among the green rolling hills of Pistoia, close to Abetone and the Apennines.

The rental apartments offer both a rustic atmosphere with flavors of the past as well as a quiet and peaceful area with splendid panoramic views, making it the ideal place to spend your vacation in leisure and in close contact with nature.

The full restoration of the two houses has led to four beautiful apartments, each with its own independent entrance.

Each apartment is furnished with all modern comforts and necessary equipment to ensure a pleasurable stay in full independence. Guests can relax next to the swimming pool during the summer months.

The apartments overlook a private square and enjoy a beautiful view over the gardens and mountains which surround the village.

The surroundings

The town of Le Piastre is found 800m above sea level, 15 minutes from the Firenze Mare A11 highway (Pistoia exit) and about 40 minutes from Florence, 30 minutes from Lucca and 60 minutes from both Pisa and Siena. It is therefore possible, with short car trips, to visit the major historical cities all in one day and enjoy the treasures of Tuscany.

The country house is strategically located in central Tuscany and is a perfect destination both in summer and winter. In fact, Abetone is a famous destination for mountain and skiing holidays.

The residence and the apartments

Borgo Isora is open year-round and has English-speaking staff available to offer tips and information on the surrounding area.

The residence offers guests a private garden, private parking, a play area for children, a barbecue area with grill and a 11m x 5,50m swimming pool.

Since the farm apartments near Pistoia are located just 40 minutes from Florence, it is possible to visit all of the main cities in Tuscany, including Florence, Pisa, Lucca and Siena. The apartments, however, are particularly well located for anyone visiting Tuscany in the winter with the nearby Abetone offering incredible skiing.

It is also possible to visit the old ice factories found in Le Piastre along the Reno River, recently reclaimed and restored to their original condition by the mountain community.

A few kilometers away is the medieval village of Cutigliano, a town hosting many events throughout the year.

Advance payment at time of reservation: 30% of total stay, balance to be paid on arrival.
