The origins of Sant'Andrea a Cellole goes back nearly 1,000 years: hermitage, fortified hamlet, priory and now and spectacular base for your holidays in the heart of Renaissance Cities of Florence and Siena. Three comfortably furnished independent apartments for groups of 2 - 4 persons with access to a panoramic pool, wifi and a dedicated garden area.
Attentively working to maintain the essence of the antique structure, the owners have decided on a decor that preserves the original archietecture: polished wooden beams, classical terracotta floors and typical stone walls. This is perfectly matched with today’s modern accessories for convenience and ease.
Situated a short distance from many of the more popular monuments and historic sites in Tuscany, guests can participate in sightseeing, wine tastings, outlet shopping and hours of hiking and trekking nearby. The onsite presence of the owners guarantee attentive service and assistance when requested.
A Beautiful Corner of Tuscany
The spectacular position in Chianti, provide the three self catering apartments at Sant’Andrea a Cellole with stunning views of Tuscany from sunrise til sunset. The setting is only a one reason why these vacation rentals are so popular with guests visiting Florence, Siena and San Gimignano. The absolute tranquility, the quality of the hospitality and the comfortable accommodations all play their part in ensuring the guests a vacation that will be hard to forget.
The totally restored hermitage is located at the end of a typical Tuscan “strada bianca”, considered one of the characteristics of the Tuscan landscape; white gravel roads that wind through the hills and countryside. The position guarantees silence, a perfect comune between nature and man. The apartments, designed for 2 - 4 persons, allow for a maximum of only 10 persons at any one time and these contained numbers creates a situation of familiarity and relaxation. It is for this reason that Sant’Andrea a Cellole prefers not to accept children under the age of 14.
Is there any better way to spend your holiday in Tuscany relaxing poolside (12 x 6 m) on one of the sun loungers with a comfortable mattress or lunching under the shady pergola dedicated to each apartment or simply sipping a glass of chilled wine from one of the nearby vineyards? The lovely gardens are populated with aromatic plants including lavender and rosemary, and brilliant splashes of colorful blossoms. There is a shared BBQ near the pool, for preparing an authentic Tuscan grilled meal. Choose one of the many shady corners to finish reading a book or perhaps a catnap in between activities.
