Nestled among the vineyards of Chianti Classico not far from Gaiole, the apartments offer both the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside while offering easy access to many local villages and wine estates nearby, as well as amazing cities such as Siena and Arezzo.

The charm of a medieval hamlet, today fully renovated to provide top class vacation accommodations, is just part of the magic of Pieve Marsina. The spacious rooms, the Tuscan country-style decor, and private garden space for each apartment are important elements that create an inviting and tranquil environment for which these holiday rentals are known and appreciated.

Vacation Rentals with Personality

Building upon the original Tuscan architecture, the renovations of Pieve Marsina have captured many of the striking and characteristic elements of the medieval buildings. There are six holiday rental apartments for 2-4 persons all of which feature a kitchenette for both indoor and outdoor meals which can include barbecues in the ample garden space. The apartments are furnished in a pleasing country style, highlighting the spacious and original terracotta floors, wood beam rafts and sandstone walls.

There are two "smaller" apartments which have one bedroom, bathroom, living room and garden area: the Nido and Quercia. These are perfect for couples on a romantic getaway. All the apartments have SAT TV and free WiFi, and all bed, bath and kitchen linens. Both of these smaller cozy apartments open up to their own private garden area where guests can enjoy a lazy day admiring the spectacular landscape of the Chianti wine region.

The remaining apartments all have 2 bedrooms, and the largest of the apartments being the two Rondini apartments, both boasting an original fireplace and a lovely loggia with a vineyard view. The Pieve and Pozzo apartments with a luminous living room area and traditional fireplaces are also two bedroom. All of the apartments have private garden areas that provide a serene corner for holiday relaxation.

Enjoy the Beauty of Chianti

Sit poolside, where the panoramic vista of Chianti will surround you with soft hills, vineyards and the elongated forms of the cypress trees on the horizon. The pool with its Roman steps provides a dedicated space for all guests including an umbrella with sunbeds, a deck chair, and a director’s chair. The outdoor garden areas are perfect for a BBQ (the grills are mobile and can be moved to just outside your door) and the spa jacuzzi is open for all of the guests upon reservations (for up to 5 persons) so that each group can enjoy their privacy, having the whole area to themselves at each reserved time.

If you feel more adventurous and active, Pieve Marsina has electric mountain bikes at your disposal to take off and explore the nearby Chianti hills and countryside on two wheels.

The position, close to Siena and Arezzo, offers many interesting day trip options for exploring not only the landscape of Tuscany, its amazing cities but also its fabulous wine collection: starting with the flavors of Chianti Classico. Closeby you will be able to adventure to several wine estates, including the Castello di Brolio, and the main towns in Chianti including Gaiole in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti, Panzano in Chianti and Castelnuovo Berardenga. Further afield, you can explore the iconic architecture in Siena, the cobbled stone streets of Arezzo and Cortona, the UNESCO recognized landscape of the Crete Senesi and Val d'Orcia and the wine areas of Brunello and Montepulciano.
