Encompassing the Peace & Tranquility of Chianti
Sitting on the top of probably one of the prettiest hills in the valley, Casa Mezzuola, is privilege to a spectacular panorama of Chianti, taking in its vineyards, olive groves, soft hills and in the distance a church bell or look out tower from some ancient castle. The family run agriturismo is centered around 2 hectares of olive groves which produce a delicious and prized extra virgin olive oil. The three apartments are situated in restored farm buildings and maintain the classical characteristics of the Tuscan country architecture: soft gray stone walls, smooth wooden beams, and the rich orange terracotta floors. These accents are combined with warm country colors, mirroring the richness of the land, the flora and the culture which surrounds the little hamlet of Mezzuola, whose history goes back to the Etruscans and Romans.
Though the position evokes the illustrious past of the area, the apartments are furnished with modern comforts including fully equipped kitchens, access to WiFi, TV and a safety deposit box where you can keep your valuables and documents. The garden and views are available to everyone to enjoy, including the large panoramic pool with its lounge chairs, umbrellas, and spectacular views. The owners live on site and are available to assist you with any questions you may have about venturing out to explore the territory starting with a short walk to the nearby parish church San Cresci built in the beginning of the XII century.
