My name is Barbara and I run and manage the Agriturismo where I live with my family since 2001. Before living here my life was completely different, I lived in the city and worked in an office but I have always had a passion for animals and living in contact with nature. One day I decided to make the change and follow my dreams to open an agritourism. And though it has been a tough road to follow, I am very happy to be here with the help of my husband who has always been at my side.
While preparing to open the apartments and B&B rooms, I have worked to become a chef. I now personally take care of the cooking at the agritourism. I love the idea of preparing delicious and exciting meals for my guests, carefully selecting the ingredients from the area and following traditional recipes that distinguish the Maremma Tuscany. All the pasta, bread and sweets are made in-house using only flour from Tuscany. On the farm, we produce extra virgin olive oil, vegetables, fruits and marmalades.
At the farm, besides welcoming our guests for a pleasant stay we also raise horses for jumping and Maine Coon cats.
